Beef the Best Ever! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are taking orders right now for October and
November delivery of our fall animals. The quality
of our beef is the best ever and we are REALLY
excited about them. We have been working on our
genetics for years now and feel we are finally getting
the kind of grass-finished beef we have been
striving for.
Contrary to what a lot of people think, there is much more that goes into finishing cattle on grass than putting just any ol' type of beef animal on any ol' grass. First of all, it requires a bull with genetic characteristics whose offspring will finish well on grass. This goes against the industry norm for bulls, and Allan has spent a lot of time looking for the right bull breeder. Our cows are also different than those prevailing in the industry - smaller framed and fleshy. Consequently, our market beef yields wonderful grass-finished carcases. And the grasses we finish them on are cultivated to provide the best tasting beef around.

Good Reports ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have gotten very good feedback on our beef and
lamb. Gary Hardesty, of Carlsbad, NM,
wrote, "Just a note to tell you the meat we bought
from you is the best beef we have ever had." We
have also developed quite a following in the local
health food stores. We are very excited about the
success of our beef and lamb in our first full year of
direct marketing.
If you have not tried our meat yet now is a perfect time, as supplies will be fairly good for awhile. We are limited, though, and depending on orders may run short, so don't wait too long if you think you might want to order.

Lamb Supplies ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our lamb supplies are good now as well. The quality,
as usual, is excellent. Again, supplies are limited so
getting your order in soon is imperative.
