Greetings!
Hello to all of you! With gas prices so high and weather conditions so fierce in the gulf we thank God every day for our many blessings and wonderful customers. May you each be blessed with abundance.
We have lots of meat being processed right now. In August we purchased a 7 x 14 foot cargo trailer for delivering our meat and in September we purchased a 12 x 12 walk in freezer for storage. The walk in freezer will allow us to have a constant supply throughout the winter, spring and early summer when our supply of finished cattle is slim. We are really excited about these two improvements to our business because we feel it will allow us to serve all of you better.
This information came from a recent article in "Beyond Organic." We are glad to be a part of the movement to provide high quality, healthy beef and lamb to our friends and neighbors. It is nice to know that you can trust the folks producing your meat - that they are concerned with the same things you are. We continue to strive to make our product better and as affordable as possible. Thanks for your support. Tell your friends!
"Sometimes the old-fashioned way is best. Grass-fed red meat and poultry have nourished humans for thousands of years, and they're still the healthiest sources of protein you'll find. Beef, buffalo, lamb, goat, and venison are loaded with nutrients that protect and enhance the immune and circulatory systems. They contain health-enhancing substances like cysteine, glutathione, coenzyme Q10, carnitine, several B vitamins, zinc, magnesium, vitamins A and D, and healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Red meats, when properly raised, provide an excellent source of complete proteins, while lamb and goat are great sources of carnitine, a fat-soluble substance that helps drive fatty acids into cells. How valuable is carnitine? Supplements are a standard therapy for people with congestive heart failure and high triglycerides. They're also used to help people recover from heart attacks."
Thanks again for all of your help and support. If any of you have leads on information that we can share in this newsletter, PLEASE forward that to us. We would love to network with you. Have a wonderful October!
