Happy 4th! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Pagosa Springs, Colorado, the 4th is the biggest
holiday of the year. Small town parade, craft fair,
rodeo, carnival, fireworks, BBQ's, music and fun.
Something going on somewhere all the time.
Memories of years past come flooding back each
year.
Our son is serving in the Navy in Kuwait, so the flag and the 4th have special significance for us. As we see the flag flying and the tears begin to fall, we are reminded to pray for his safety and the safety of all the kids serving in our military. If you would join us in this prayer we would be grateful.

Very good supplies ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the time being we have great supplies of beef
and lamb. We had so many inquiries and lots of
orders from the article in the Men's Journal, but we
are just about caught up and have more meat being
processed right now. So let us know if you are in
need.
We found a processor closer to home and are hoping we can tie up the processing end of the business a little more efficiently. So far we are really happy with the product we are getting from them. They are trying very hard to get the meat just the way we want it - very trim and lean.

Kabob Meat ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have been enjoying beef and lamb kabobs lately.
What a treat! I highly recommend our kabob meat to
you. It is trim and tender and so delicious.
I like to marinate the meat for a few minutes and then alternate it on the skewer with mushrooms, onion, peppers, pineapple, zucchini, and whatever other treats I have in the fridge. Kabobs are a great way to get creative. If you don't like it after it is grilled, just toss that item and eat the rest of the kabob! Don't forget to cook it on medium or low - not too fast lest you toughen the meat.
